Years later without naming the usual suspects, well known brands and faces whom over time have become more infamous that famous.
People associate brands now with their owner, differently than in the past when brands if ever were associated with a well known face.
The rules have changed for worse or better depending on how you’re “influenced” today and whose results have given cause for many to abandon social media to return back to truly being social. It is more apropos to call the well known media platforms more anti social ones employing anti-human algorithms having their way.
Web3 offers a way to counter anti social media with users becoming part of the economic pie for distribution to all members involved. Instead of being “the eaten” users are sitting at the table and in more ways than one capable of steering much of what is put out as fare for the consumers.
